Dear Hallsburg ISD Families,

This month, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) announced waivers that will allow Hallsburg ISD to make free meals available to all children ages 18and under through the end of the 2020 – 21 school year.  Beginning, November 2, 2020, any child may receive free breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday.  During these unprecedented times, we are thankful for the flexibilities offered by the USDA and TDA that will allow all children to have access to nutritious food at no cost to families. 

All students, both in-person and remote, will be able to take advantage of the free meals. If you have children who are not yet in school and would like meals for them, please contact the school office at 254-875-2331 so we can have pick-up meals available for them as well. 

Please note that any cafeteria charges accrued through October 30, 2020, will still be outstanding until the balance is paid.
